May is here, and I don’t know about you, but for me, it brings up so many memories, events, and celebrations like… May Day, National Day of Prayer, Cinco De Mayo, Nurse’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Mother’s Day, Armed Forces Day, Birthday’s, Parent’s Anniversary, and lest we forget Memorial Day. And how could I forget… proms, graduations, and moving on to that next venture in life, weddings!
What an exciting time of celebration, remembering, changes, and new beginnings. A time for all things new. Time to really celebrate life and the blessing of it. Being thankful for all that we have to celebrate, to remember (both good and bad). Knowing that we’ve learned from where we have been and we are taking that knowledge into the future, our forward thinking and believing. Knowing that every step of the way we were and are never alone. There was and always will be someone with us. Good or bad, He walks with us, and carries us many times. Now as we move boldly into May with our many memories and celebrations, He continues this journey with us; He goes before us, walks beside us, and He never leaves us. We can find strength in that, and we can celebrate Him, as all things are made possible because of Him.
So, as we go into this month that is filled with so much for each of us, remember as you are celebrating, pause and remember to celebrate Him; our heavenly Father who has made all things possible, and made all things come to pass; given us life, to celebrate. Let’s go now with wild abandonment and show Him how much we love Him and how thankful we are for all that we celebrate and remember.
Many blessings to you as you celebrate, with thanksgiving the month of May!
