But God is still at work, even if it is behind the scenes.

Thought for the Day
It is easy to forget that the Bible was recorded over hundreds of years of time. The acts of God performed in the early chapters of Genesis must have seemed like long-ago history to those like Habakkuk. His refrain of “do it again, Lord” is a familiar one. We often long for God to work in
ways that reveal his power more overtly. We read of his past deeds and wish we could have been present to witness to them. But God is still at work, even if it is behind the scenes.
Consider This
Habakkuk says that God is famous for his deeds. When you think about God – which of his deeds do you think of?
How would I like to see God move today?
When I can’t see God moving, how can I strengthen my faith?
Prayer Focus
Identify an area and lay it before God. Ask him to move in a mighty way in that area. Remember his deeds as you pray in faith.
