As we step firmly into 2023, what will you do differently this year? Well, how about truly making a difference? I mean we are given only one life with no do overs, are we really making it count, really making a difference, really living with purpose, our God given purpose? I was thinking about this the day after Christmas, I knew things had to change for me in the new year. Now there it is, that word that none of us like, CHANGE! But we change every second of every day whether we realize it or not. We change with every decision that we make. So, as I was thinking about things that I needed to do differently for me so that I was truly living out my God given purpose, I realized how much I, we take things for granted. Take for granted that we will wake up tomorrow. We look at things and say, I’ll do that tomorrow, or I’ll get to it someday, and honestly, tomorrow is not promised to any of us. This took me back to a book that I read years ago, a series that we did at our church. As I scaled it, I realized this book would be my devotion for the month of January, to get me back on track. I wanted to share this with you as a way that you too could take this 30-day journey with me and if you choose, get your life back on track so to speak. Get back to making each day really matter and living a life of NO regrets. Remembering that someday, may never come and we can all stop wasting the precious time that we do have. Are you ready to live 2023 completely to the fullest? I know that I am. Time to live out loud with purpose, no regrets. No, I wish I would have, could have, should have; but I did, I’ve done, with all excitement and Joy for lives touched and changed, for the kingdom and for His glory for the generations! Knowing in the end you will be a better YOU! Well, here is the book for those who have not figured it out, “One Month to Live – Thirty Days to a No-Regrets Life” by Kerry & Chris Shook. I hope you will join me this month and follow the four principles of this book to living a no-regrets life: “Live Passionately, living each day as if it were your last. Love Completely, showing others love that transcends and transforms. Learn Humbly, growing through your problems and pain. Leave Boldly, creating a legacy that will impact generations.”
Looking forward to journeying with you and sharing your discoveries, In His Service, Karen
