UNSTOPPABLE! – BWITW – Blog

So, you know many times people will ask you what your ‘word’ for this year is.  Well, normally I don’t have one.  It’s not something that I’ve ever done before so I’ve never really thought about it.  Well, this year it has come up for me on multiple occasions so I thought maybe, for this year I would have a word.  You know that one word that would stand for my year.

With all that I have going on in my life, and the goals that I’ve set for the year, I chose a word that I keep hearing and it’s really becoming a theme.  Now, at one of my events, they took things a bit further and said not just have a word, but also have a scripture that ties you to that word.  Now this really made me rethink my word, but it brought me back to my original word.  And you know when you keep coming back to the same thing, it is meant to be.

I chose this word because I have been very specific in the goals that I have set for my life, personally, spiritually, and for business; and I know the ONLY way that I can attain them is to be all in.  I must not let anything deter me from what I know God has set out for me to accomplish.  I have surrounded myself with all of the knowledge and support that is needed to move forward to do His will.  My eyes are truly fixed on the author and perfecter of my faith.  He has gone before me and He has prepared not only the way, but He has prepared me for the prize that I am to seize.  So, I must run this race, MY race, laying aside everything that may entangle me, running with endurance towards what He has set before me.  Keeping my eyes fixed on HIM.  I must be, as HE is and was, totally sold out to reach the goal set for Him.

So, my word for this year…

UNSTOPPABLE!

My scripture,

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NASB).  Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I pray that this inspires you to have your ‘word’ and scripture for this year, and just maybe this will become something that you do annually.  Try it and see how different your life can be.  I know for me, in just these 2 months, life is definitely changing and directing me straight towards the goals that He and I set at the beginning of the year.

I hope you will share your ‘word’ and scripture with us online.  This month be unstoppable and pursue all that He has for you.

In His Service,

Karen
